At last we have achieved some semblance of success. While re-animation of cells, tissues, organs and even organisms has been possible for decades always we have had the same problems as our illustrious predecessor, Dr West: controlling the subjects after the serum has acted. Following from the work recovered after Prof. Barkers death from [deleted for security reasons] we have finally managed to integrate artificial and natural components into the brain of subject 8031/556/b thereby achieving a modicum of control of the unit. At the moment the mass production and installation of these intelligence-pods is beyond our means; the surgery required to install them properly takes a dozen procedures over several days and is within the capabilities of perhaps five men in the world. However with the continued improvements we are seeing in computer and micro-processor technology I am confident that these problems can be circumvented.
I predict that within a decade we will be able to field such units in live combat roles should there be a suitable conflict to act as proving ground.
